 Steve LevyStephen Levy is one of two well-known Welsh preachers. He was born in Swansea, delivered by his own father in the absence of the midwife - on the coldest day of the year. His first job was as a milkman, and at the age of eleven he came to a personal faith in Jesus Christ at a summer camp. Later, called to church ministry, he led the Lonlas Mission in Wales, and from there planted a church fellowship, where he and his wife Clare ministered for seven years before Steve became Senior Minister at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Swansea in 2001. He has written an outstanding book Bible Overview (Christian Focus) which has helped thousands to fall in love with the Scriptures. His vigorous preaching has been valued as far from home as Scotland, Australia and Korea. He and Clare are parents to Amy, Ed and Joe.
